I am an assistant professor in the Department of Biostatistics. My research interests are focused on machine learning, epigenetics, proteomics and computer-aided drug design.
I studied and completed my master at Ege University Department of Biostatistics in 2011 and I have developed new approaches for assessment of bioequivalence studies using nonlinear mixed-effects models.
I worked as a visiting scientist at RCSB Protein Data Bank (at University of California, San Diego) and have developed new approaches for the evaluation of biological assemblies and protein-protein interfaces. I completed my PhD under supervision of Prof. Dr. Osman Saraçbaşı and Dr. Peter W. Rose in 2016 at Hacettepe University Department of Biostatistics.
I have established my start-up company in 2017, where we are developing Turkey’s first statistical software. For more information: https://biostatanalytics.com/.

This tool provided a pipeline for biological variation analysis of analytes.
This web tool is developed for evaluation of quaternary structures of protein structures in the Protein Data Bank.
geneSurv provides a wide range of survival analysis methods for genomic research, especially in cancer studies.
We developed a new tool, which can classify molecules as drug-like and nondrug-like based on various machine learning methods, including discriminant, tree-based, kernel-based, ensemble and other algorithms.
easyROC creates ROC curves, calculates area under the curve (AUC) values and confidence intervals for the AUC values, and performs multiple comparisons for ROC curves in a user-friendly, up-to-date and comprehensive way.
voomDDA is a decision support tool developed for RNA-Sequencing datasets to assist researchers in their decisions for diagnostic biomarker discovery and classification problem.
We combine the information from leukocyte count along with D-dimer level to increase the diagnostic accuracy of nontraumatic acute abdomen.
